Cardinal Help
I recently purchased a couple of Banggai Cardinals from the local LFS and put them in the QT tank. The first day I fed them they ate right away, but ever since they have not wanted to eat. I tried mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, blood worms and misc. dry food but they don't seem interested in anything. I've also tried Vita-Chem and Selcon soaked food. I thought I read somewhere that Banggai Cardinals sometimes eat off the bottom during the night but I can't tell if they are or not. Should I worry? Anything I can do to try to get them to eat?

How long have they not been eating? I'd worry if the behavior kept up for more than a week. You could skip feeding for a few days or not let the food sit on the bottom after trying.

Cardinals are shy feeders.... sometimes it takes them awhile to even know that they are being fed. I can have food sitting on top for up to 15 minutes before they realize it's there and eat it. Do you have other fish? Mine ate better when there were other fish, well they realized there was food in the tank faster at least.
