Thumbs up I think my snails had babies

I have 3 turbo snails and just tonight i saw that they had little bitty white specks on my L R.When i looked real close i saw they were baby snails moving around .Has anyone ever had this happen i was told they do not reproduce in a tank or is this something i was misinformed about?Oh i also saw lots of what look like clear tadpoles everywhere in and on my L R can anyone tell me what this is and good or bad by this discription.

THANKS LOTS FOR THE INFO!!!!!

chances are you have Collonista snails, not baby turbos. they are common hitchhikers, and good algae eaters. they stay small and are one of the few snails that will reproduce rapidly in a tank. heres a link with some pics of them, and some info about 3/4 down the page.

the "tadpoles" are probably mysid shrimp or some other type of pod. but with out a pic its impossible to 100% either. heres a great link that should help.

That sounds more like pyramid snails (a bad thing). The chances of snail eggs surviving in our tanks is slim to none.

Paintbug, Glad, you posted this! I have literally hundreds of these in my 37g tank, for the longest time I thought they were baby turbos that never reached adulthood.
