Water Storage Containers

It appears alot of aquarists use regular ole Rubbermaid trash cans, but anyone have any experience with water storage options such as this: http://www.liverocknreef.com/shop/in...5&prevstart=24

This appears it would seal off better than a trash can and would be able to hold your RO water a little longer than a trashcan. I guess the problem would be if you needed to move it to your tank area to perform water changes.

JOSEPHLB, DID YOU LOOK AT THE SHIPPING WEIGHT! i did a recap on this item, you will pay alot $$$ for 55 lbs. shipping. i also agree with Paintbug, no need for 65 gallons top-off water. enjoy your afternoon,

John.

I'm probably going to sound dumb, but a dumb question is a question not asked.

My planned 75g will be in our living room. Our in the spare area of our basement is where our sanitary tub, well filters, extra faucets, laundry area is, etc..

Just brainstorming about how I'm going to transport 75g of water into our living room for my initial fill up??

Run hose to Living room and use a pump. Or do it the old fashion way--2 five gallon buckets at a time.

OR If the basement is under your living room run a pipe through the floor with a "faucet-like" adaptor. Hide with a new "hollow" lamp table....

So: Trashcan ---> Submergable Pump ---> Hose To Tank ??

Seems easy enough; I guess thats why a newbie such as myself overlooks something as simple as that.
