super skimmer

A week ago I installed the corallife super skimmer 125 for my 90 gallon reef tank. The manual states in takes 48-72 hours to break in. It's been a week and no waste is visible in the collection cup. I have the dial set so the microbubbles are in the med level of the cone in the collection cup. Is there something wrong with this skimmer? Does it take longer than 72 hours to break in? Is there anything I can do to speed up the break in? How long did it take you to break in you super skimmer?

Thanks-DJPJ

It could take up to a week to break in. Mine only took a day or two on my 75 but sometimes it's longer/shorter, and there's no way to speed up the break in period.
