DIY light fixture...Too much heat
My brother is building a 210g (i think) divider between his living room and dining room, viewable three sides. The custom cabinetry he has built is beautiful.
Anyway, he thought he would make his own fixture. It is currently 2 x 6 with 1-250mh on each end and 2-400's in the middle. He bought stainless steel to mount the lights to for what he calls reflective purposes (which I told him won't work) but the steel heats up way too much. He plans on having a fan draw the heat away, but I want to know how you guys with big tanks deal with this heat. He needs something to act as a heat sink. Any suggestions? Thanks Don |
