He does approach and nodges my finger even without food. He is very tamed. He lets me stroke his side with my index finger when I'm feeding him. So let's see some pics of yours.

I have a solar wrasse that nudges your hand. Same with a foxface, so i have to be quick.

i have a yellow tail damsel that bites me if thats any consolation

I have a foxface that eats out of my hands, but then again I dont do it to often on account of his venomous spines
