wave2k?

I remember seeing these things at macna, and they looked fairly impressive for the price. why is it that there is very little content on any of the standard reef forums about it?

all the posts are atleast 2-3 years old, and very little updates on the product at all. If you know of any threads showing anything about this product would be great. thanks.

I've been wanting more info as well. Such as what it is and how it works. The site is a little vague. There was some talk at Austin Reef Club about some members owning them. They all said the fellow that owns the place will custom make them however you want is a really nice guy.

I have several to trade for something . if you are interested in trying one well...... I have em and mike is a really nice guy and will do what it takes to make you happy ,I have gone to tunze so they are going to the pile of used equipment in the garage until they are needed again. If you are wondering how they work I will try to explain..... there is a helix inside that runs a rigid impeller up and down drawing water in at the top and pushing it uot the bottom and vise-versa kinda surge like. I will tell you I had four going in one system and they rock the tank. the only thing I found to be truoblsom was the little peice inside that the helix rides on wears out in time(mike sent me new ones no charge) so.... you need to maintenance them once in a while just as anything else in the reef . I forgot to mention the motor is mounted at the rear of the unit it can be mounted upside down or right side up depending on your needs. the motor is belt driven as well
