Tunze DOC Nano Vs. CSS65?

I am currently looking to upgrade from my coralife super skimmer 65. I have it located in my sump with the intake and return located in a large filter sock which also includes the drain lines from my hob overflow box. It worked okay for a while but I am having some trouble with the pump now. I am looking to spend under $200 (total). My question is would a nano skimmer be an upgrade to this skimmer and if so could I just attach it to my 10g sump wall and put the whole skimmer inside of the filter sock? I currently have about 6 or 7 sps colonies and three fish (o. clown, sixline wrasse, & royal gramma)
