2 part help
I was just wondering if the elements in 2 part buffers were enough to make for thriving corals. I use bionc from esv, and i wasn't sure if the amount of mg and iodine and other elements was enough or if i needed to add additional supplements. most 2 part containers say not to use any other additives, but i didn't know if that was simply marketing scheme or if it was actually good advice.

I had good success with a two part and water changes. That was all I did for as long as it made financial sense to use a two part. (Ended up too expensive)
If you are worried, then test your water just like you would if you were dosing for it

I'm not worried, I was just wondering on average if it worked out that way. I always try to do at least a 10-15% water change at a minimum of bi-weekly, but I just wanted to make sure I was doing the best I could do for my critters. I can't afford nor do I have the room for a calc reactor at this time. i guess I could start using kalk, but I don't know all that much about it. I really don't have my 2 part dosing down to a science. I really need to get that sorted out as well. Of course, it doesn't matter so much when there's nothing but rock in my tank. I am however getting good coralline growth.
