Ich and Flashing
Do fish flash for any other reason besides ich? I was just looking in my tank and noticed on of the fish flash up against a rock. Not showing any white spots or any other signs of ich. Have been watching for about 30 minutes and haven't seem him do it since?

I think it sort of depends on the fish type itself. If my Mandarin flashed i would be worried, I have seen other fish flash trying to knock food loose and others flash due to some type of irritation.
I probably would not get to worried if you have not introduced any new fish and your tank is ich free

I'm a little worried because I just came off of a very small ich outbreak. I took all the fish out of the tank and put them in QT with cupramine for 6 weeks and left the tank empy for 6 weeks. They have been back in the tank for about 2 weeks now, so I don't know how but I'm thinking now somehow ich is back in the tank.

Give it a few days and keep an eye on the fish.
What kind of fish are these?

The fish in question is a Royal Gramma. I posted another thread regarding a spot I saw on the side of this same fish. When you look directly at the side of the fish you really can't see the spot, but when the fish is at an angle and the light catches it right there appears to be a shiny spot, it looks almost like a few scales might be missing. I thought possibly an anemone sting, run in with sally lightfoot, rock scrape, but just don't know? Everything else is fine, eathing, swimming, playing with other fish.
