Help ID -- Is this a sponge?
Recently acquired some Tampa Bay Cultured Live Rock from a person breaking down their tank. I found two of these things growing on the rock. They seem somewhat fleshy...and do not move. Does anybody recognize them...could it be a sponge?

Either a sponge or a leather coral, which leaves you pretty much where you were: either way it would eat phyto, I think.
