My tds is the same as the tap NOW with a bad membrane before for the last YEAR it has been 001. Its 0% water down the drain i dont even have the line installed unless i back flush it and the old membrane only went bad after a year because i let it dry out. Ill tell you guys all what ill keep my 0% waste water rodi unit and you keep yours and shut the **** up god dam children. MOD PLZ DELETE THIS THREAD! my only question of could the membrane be sent dry has been answered to all the others **** off.

Vash, call the vendor and let them straighten you out. You either have a defective unit or it is plumbed incorrectly. You ahve been told by some ofthe best in the business how an RO unit works and all the advice has been correct. If it were possible to produce a zero waste unit don't you think every vendor would have one? Its not possible thats a plain and simple as it gets. You have something blocking the waste flow which is what carries the waste solids away from the membrane. What do you imagine happens to them if you don't waste? Its not magic and wastes do not disappear, they build up and plug themembrane thats all they can do.
As for your attitude, you need to be banned from RC, you ask for advice and then get beligerent when someone offers sound advice. |

I never asked for that advice just if it could be shipped dry. I dont care ban me with people like you its not a big loss.

OK 99% 0f all membranes are shipped dry. Only Spectrapure offers wet membranes in their Select series. Thats not going to solve your problem though.
