Ritteri anemone not eating

My H.magnifica or Ritteri as you might wanna call it, is not eating.
Here are the facts:

It arrived 2 weeks ago to my LFS, I trust the guy, he's been in the business for 20 years and is my friend, he doesn't care much about profit.

He told me that ritteris are bad shippers, but if they arrive healthy then theyh thrive. He told me this Ritteri had arrived very healthy, it did looked healthy and inflated, with an ocellaris in it as well. He fed flakes, and the Ritteri even ate the flakes, so it was a very good sign.

I took the anemone and the clown home, the temp was at 26c. When I returned from Cancun 5 days later, the temp is at 23c and the anemone is partially inflated. I am slowly raising the temp.

I have tried to feed it a piece of shrimp, and is grabbing it and opening its mouth, but not eating it. So I don't know if this is bad or normal, since its been in my tnak for 1 week so far.

do you have any pictures of the anemone?

magnifica anemones are tricky and full of disappointment in the first month or so. they can appear healthy and active, only to quickly go downhill.

what are the other conditions of your tank? size? pH? salinity? lighting? age of system?

i would suggest holding off on the feeding of large foods, and just try squirting thawed mysis shrimp over the tentacles, see how it responds to that.

What was mentioned above is correct 100%, magnificas are very hard anemones to keep and they dissapoint alot, if i were you id also just get like a turkey paster or something and feed it mysis shrimps soaked in selcon.
