Giesemann 400w 13k bulbs

I am doing a new lighting setup and I am thinking about using Giesemann 400w 13k bulbs without and actinic suplimintation. Does anyone use a setup like this on there tank?, if so do you have any pics of how the tank looks. Also what do you think the best ballast to use is? thanks

yes but i dont know where i have heard a few reports that the 13k needs actinic supp. and the 14.5 does not and is a very nice ice blue white the geismanns are very good bulbls that should give you quite a bit of time in beetween changes
