My 95g Custom Tank Thread

After running my current 25g tank for little over a year, my wife and I decided to upgrade a little. It started first with just wanting to get a cabinet made for the tank since it was a very open setup. We got the price for the cabinet... wasn't surprised but it just didn't make sense to spend that money on a 25g tank.

After a lot of thinking and discussions I came up with my final size of 36 x 30 x 20. Reasons for choosing this include:

- Size of the wall the tank is going on (41")
- Shallow enough that T5 lighting can be used in conjunction wiht a single 250w MH
- Tank needs to be run on a single 15amp circuit
- A chiller wont be used due to the electrical constraits so heat needs to be disappated with fans through the canopy.

Tank: SoCalCreations 36x30x20
Stand: Made from Maple to match household furniture - Contermporary hidden design
Lighting: Single 250w MH - Needs to be chosen
Lighting2: T5 (8 36" Strips) Config needs to be chosen
Skimmer: Deltec MC500 - (existing)
Sump: SoCalCreations Custom 20g 26 x 14 x 16 (existing)
Sump Return: Pan World 50px - 590gph (existing)
Wave Maker: OM Squirt - To be used on Sump Return (existing)
Water Flow: Tunze Nano Stream 6055 on 7095 Controller
Computer: Reef Keeper 2 w/PH Probe (existing)
Calc Reactor: Needs to be chosen
