Drilling Question??

How can I tell if my tank is drillable? I have a 90 gallon AGA, and just think it would be neater looking and easier, to drill the tank to put my CL, and my returns in.

Also if I do drill my tank what size bulkhead should I put in for my returns. And if I make my own overflow what size bulkhead should I use for it?

go to the aga website and check on if you exact tank is tempered --if the tank is NOT tempered you can drill it-- i drilled two 1 to 1 1/2 inch holes in my aga 29g and they worked fine--if you cant find it contact the manufacturer of the tank

as far as size you need to find out what your flow through your sump (or whatever yoru running) is then buy that size bulk head

i used a 1 inch drain line for little less then 500 gph i believe is what i did

AGA90 has a tempered bottom only. The sides are drillable.
