Those corner tanks are tough to get good light spread, maybe 2 - 250watt pendants.

I would think 2 - 250's with spider reflectors would be perfect. One 400 would work I think. Watch placing corals to be sure they are covered..

A 400 watt in a Lumenarc might work well. I've seen a pair of 250 watt DE used as well and that works. Basically, there's only 36" to work with, so what I've seen is some use a 2x250watt (with some T5s) fixture suspended.

The problem with lighting a 92 gal is that you need to be a little more creative.

I am lighting my 92 corner with an aquactinics 5bulbT5 light (36 inches). It is sufficient for most corals all the way to the sandbed (4 inches), but I have not tried SPS on the bottom. If it would fit (I think it might) a 48inch fixture or the new solar flare fixture would be better. The solar flare would grow anything you want.

I was originally looking at a pendant halide, but decided on the T5s for heat and the fact that I do not have a canopy. I would go with 2 250s and 2 t5s for supplimental lighting (retro) if I had a canopy.

400 is too much! i use 2X250 DE w/ 2X95 actinic VHO's for my SPS/LPS. they are in a PFO 36" hood. lighting is not hard to gets spread across at all...
i have the hood hung over open top, 10" above. no chiller. my temp is 80-81 in winter/fall and 81.5-82.8 in summer( pinpoint), if u use 400's U WILL NEED A CHILLER, and 400 is overkill. i have excellent growth, PE and coloration w/ 250's. i also use a mag ballast for the MH and an ice cap for the VHO's.

...i didn't see u were asking about 1 pendant. then i guess a 400, BUT light will not be spread evenly and will look ehhh. i was even thinking of a way to somehow add 1 in the middle of mine, a 20K, but not possible and heat would be an issue...why 1 pendant? save your $ and do it right.
