Yea...dont go with the jawfish, you dont have enough sand, they really prefer more than that...I had one and had to get rid of him cause he'd dig to the bottom everywhere and never seemed happy with 2 inches.

My sixline is the most curious fish that I have. It's always swimming in and out of my rockwork unless I'm standing next to the tank... then it challenges me to a staring contest... It'll tilt its head back and forth from side to side sizing me up and then when its absolutely sure I don't have food it decides to go back to inspecting the rocks.

Yes, and the blenny hassled the firefish.

Then again, everything hassles a firefish [which are jumpers!].

IMO, I'd skip a wrasse or firefish [both can jump] ... as for Blennies, I loved my Midas, love my tail-spot.

For your tank, a tail-spot might be a better choice ... smaller, IMO less likely to bully larger fish [Midas get as big as firefish]. Don't need sand, either.

Spanglish I think thats what they spend most of there life doing? Mine is happy with its burrow for a while then back to work it goes fixing it up! I just like there attitudes, they remind me of a chihuahua with "short mans complex"

I don't know if anyone has said Lawnmower Blenny - but my Blenny is just amazing. I really love how he can do a quick color shift as well. He'll blend in almost perfectly with my LR, then move out to the sand to scoop something up and his body starts to turn white. it's amazing.

He's so cool and goofy looking, lol.

I like any of the pygmy angels from the argi complex. Unlike some others from the genus, these are very unlikely to damage any inverts. My African Flameback has loads of personality, although he is a bit of a bully. That is probably why he is so fun to watch.

The others in the complex are the Cherub and the Brazilian Flameback, and if your pockets are really deep, the Resplendent Angelfish.

Gobies are great, I had a baby perc once that would not allow my hand to go into the tank without him coming up to me. He would peck the hairs on my arm, let me cup him in my hand, anywhere my hand went in the tank, he was right there. I was hand feeding him. I never got another like that though.
