Worms?
The lights are off in my tank and I just saw a 1cm worm w/ red ends and a white center swimming. I have seen many worms in my tank before, but none that swim around the tank.
Could it be a very small bristle worm or what? I didn't think they could swim and it lacked bristles. This is bad, but to be 100% honest I kinda hope the skimmer or filter gets the best of it. It looked like a tiny snake swimming around, and I'm scared to death of snakes. |

There are many types of worms but it sounds like some sort of roundworm. Most of the small animals that live in your reef are beneficial. Even if they look scary

sounds like an epitoke, which is a part of some bristleworms reproduction. nothing to worry about. 95% of the worms found in our tanks are harmless, and most are benifical to the tank.
