baby jellyfish???
I have no idea what these things swimming in my tank are. They are brownish no more than 1 or 2mm big and the swim like jellyfish. what could it be i haven't put anything new in the tank in over six months. ther are hundreds of them and the fish aren't trying to eat them. any ideas would be appreciated.

Most likely jellyfish. It's not that uncommon to have this happen.

How old is the tank? Many new tanks go through a period with "Hydroids" and they die off rather rapidly after a short time. They come in with the live rock
http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...=hydroid+photo might help http://melevsreef.com has a "foto ID" section that is pretty easy to use (direct link)http://www.melevsreef.com/id/

the tanks been up for almost 4 years and I haven't put any new rock in for at least 2 years. a fish I got 6 or 8 months ago was the last thing I put in. I'll work on a pic but i'm not sure my camera is that good. Its an active swimmer but it doesn't seem to have any direction.
