water changes

My 20 gal tank has been up for about 10 days with 10# base rock and 20# live sand. yesterday I added 10# live rock. my question is how long should I wait to do a water change? I'm guessing it's better to wait until the tank cycles.

Should I try raw shrimp to cycle the tank or am I go to go just with the live sand and rock?

thanks
phin

Stick with LR and LS. Wait for cycle to complete.

Yeah, wait until the cycle has finished to do a water change. The live rock/sand will be fine for cycling.
