Kashiwa Anthias?

Anyone know much about them? I did a search with no results, and a Google search yields very little.

Any photos out there? Thanks.

I don't personally have any experience with this anthias, but try a search using pseudanthias kashiwae. taxonomical spelling can be a PITA.

Good luck

Thanks reefshadow, that helped a lot. It appears their common name is tricolor anthias.

In the few that I have kept I've found them to be fairly easy to keep.... along the same lines as squammies and barlett's. I've never been able to get them to retain their color... after a short while they wind up with a salmony-pink base color with a pale red bar... nothing to write home about!
Good luck!
Jon

That's kind of what they look like now. I got 5 of them for $30 so if the don't color up or work out it won't be a big monetary loss.
Thanks!
