Question manjano anemones

Anyone have any ideas on how to rid the tank of these guys . I've tried joes juice even made fresh kalwasser and injected them . They like to imbed themselves with some of my favorite corals which makes it even more difficult . I'm fresh out of ideas as well as kryptonite so if anyone out there has any suggestions I'm all ears . Thanks

Mix up a paste of kalk and just a little water. It should be nearly as thick as toothpaste, just thin enough to draw into a pipette or syringe -- if it's too thin, I find it just disappears into the water column and doesn't do a thing to the anemone. Turn off all the pumps, and then feed some of the paste directly to the nem. It should react instantly by curling up into a ball. Bury it with what's left in the syringe, let it sit for a minute and turn the pumps back on. If the paste is sufficiently thick it should stay put (unless you've got a powerhead aimed directly at it) and will become hard within a few hours. You can use a turkey baster to pull the chunk out later on, or remove it right away if you don't want to leave it in the tank.

I've used the kalk paste before and it works well, but it's a pretty caustic mixture that can hurt other corals in the aquarium in the event that some of it gets loose and floats around. Since I have more majano in my aquarium I'm going to use Joe's Juice which I hear is much safer. Most online vendors carry it.

I have two of them in my tank and told they were ok to keep. Should I get rid of them?

Thanks. I'll take care of it today. Too bad, because I thought they were kind of cute. I battled aptaisia for weeks when I first set the tank up. I had a HUGE one under the rocks I couldn't see that kept spawning. I don't want any new problems like that.

I just used Joe's Juice on mine. Much to my wifes dismay as she thought it was a baby RBTA that would become a home for her beloved Nemo clown :-). My Joe's Juice was a little thick after not using it for a while so it was more paste-like and I just lather the little sucker with it and this morning he's completely gone...no trace he was even there...hopefully he's really dead and gone!!!
