Rubbermaid Tubs
Are Rubbermaid and Sterlite tubs safe to use for mixing and storing my water change water. I know food grade is recommended and won't leach phosphates but I see storage tubs (for clothing I think) for sale and wondered if I could use them safely.

Yes, they are fine. I use a 30 gallon Rubbermaid trash can to mix my water change water in. It has worked great for a couple of years.

I've used both of those totes without problems-- I'd rinse them real good if you are worried
