When do Bartlett's anthias begin growing streamers?

I've never seen Bartlett'santhias with streamers until this weekend, they were probably 3+ inches each and looked incredible. How old/large must they be and do only males/females grow them?

The ones at this pet store had 2" steamers comming off the rear fin, similar to Naso tangs w/ streamers. I've never seen them like this before... And yes, they were Bartlett's

On a related note, are Bartlett's one of the anthias that do well together in tanks? I'm considering adding 2 or 3 more to my existing one. I know that they're hermaphroditic, so mine is likely a male by now, so I'd need to add only females.
