and what are these white tentacles, they are solid in feel and appear to have no real interestin source

the white stuff in picture number two looks like a harmless sponge.

these hitchhiked on my rock. On forty five pounds I got probably10 sponges, what a deal!!

i have number 1 in my tank and its a sponge and its fine

i believe number 2 is also

Look similar to the sponges that I got as hitchhikers on my rock. Feed the tank with phtyo, cyclopeeze, etc...and watch them grow.
