A couple of things....If you do an RC search, you will find a post that I believe is called "Catalina Nightmare" or something close to that. "Aquariumlights" on Ebay is the same company, which also uses other names online as well. Read this post carefully.
I have ordered from AquariumLights on Ebay, and the product was decent at best. (6 x 54w T5 setup) The bulbs you will receive are made by Catalina, which are not highly recommended. The better T5 bulbs include Giesemann, ATI, etc. I understand the cost is attractive, which is what I went with when I decided to purchase that setup almost two years ago. But I ended up buying a whole new light (Tek) less than one year after the purchase. You can always buy the setup and use different bulbs, and maybe you will get lucky and not have any problems. But in the long run, I think its best to spend a little extra and have a proven quality unit and peace of mind. Hope this helps |

One thing that I left out was the fact that I will not have this tank in about 6-8 months. As soon as my wife and I move I plan on buying a 90 gallon setup.
The light that I want to purchase for the 46 gallon is just a temp solution. Thank you for your reply The creatures in the tank are: two 4-5 inch anemones about 30-60 smaller ones, 1-yellow tang, 1-yellow tail damsel, 2-blue coral banded shrimp and about one hundred lbs of live rock. The anemones that I currently house are low light I’m assuming because they are all thriving. I only about one anemone about 2 years ago and now I have 30-60 in there all ranging from five inches to about 1/16 of an inch in diameter. |

I had one of those catalina setups, and the bulbs were garbage. Also, there was a short in it somewhere and I shocked myself. It put an electrical current on the water's surface. don't waste your money
