Just an FYI. I use Seachem's Matrix and Purigen in my canister filters for my tank, and I could not be happier with the results. The Matrix is a very very porous rock based material (which I assume makes it easy for bacteria to attach onto), and I assume everyone knows what Purigen can do as I've seen it posted about here on RC a few times.
Anywho, anyone that may be looking for the extra little thing to help get their tank going, to maybe help bring those stinky nitrates down a little, to maybe help get the tank loooking clear and perty, I highly recommend Seachem's Matrix and Purigen. I love them. There, now can I get a deal from Seachem to be their spokesperson ![]() |

Just make sure you clean the canister filter often =) Otherwise no matter what you use, it will not do a tank good!
