Question on baffles in sumps.

Im installing them as we speak and wanted to know. How far apart should the baffles be. And how high should the middle baffle be off the bottom?. This is a 65 AGA display and the sump is a 29 (30x12x18). The Return pump will be a Eheim 1250 (317 GPH). Thanks fellas.

There are probably a lot of mixed opinions on this. I usually go 1.5" between baffles and the same distance on the gap from the bottom on the middle baffle.

1.5-3" is good. But with the low flow you are going to be having, 1" should be OK.
