Closed Loop

I'm in the planning stages of a closed loop for my 55 gallon. I was wondering what size pump I should go with. My initial thought is the MAG-12. Currently I have a seio 620, maxi jet 1200 (not moded) and an Aqua clear 2000 in the tank. Will the Mag 12 make up for this plus a little more? Also plan on using a SCWD.

So what are everybodies thoughts on this?

I think you should be ok with that pump size. I think a mag 9.5 could be enough also. I was running one into my 77g and I had sufficient flow in there.
