yellow tang predator?
I have had 2 different yellow tangs in my tank. First one died after 5 days. Thought he may not be eating enough. Bought a second and he died the next day. Water parameters are fine. Both fish ended up in the exact same spot in the tank (wedged under a piece of LR) This location may also be due to the flow dynamics of my tank. Any suggestions on what may be killing my tangs. Other fish have been doing just fine!
thanks brian

what are the params? Even tho just about everybody says "water is fine", we get them to post and it usually is NOT fine. So please post your params
amonia nitrite nitrates (dont harm fish tho) pH temp SG Those are the main ones to hurt a fish. Now, if you've found it in the same spot 2 times now, then to me it sounds like something is killing them. Have you heard any popping/clicking noises from the tank? Do you have any snails or hermits or anything else in there that has gotten cracked shells and died or anything like that? If so, i'd say you got a mantis shrimp
