Deco 3 Nano Reef
Hello everyone. I am new to Reef Central, so this is my first thread. Anyway... My wife bought me a "Deco Kit 3" from Tom Aquarium Products. I have a 12 gallon nano cube at home, which is doing well, but I am at work most of the day and don't get to enjoy the tank as often as I would like. So, I am setting up the 3 gallon Deco on my desk at work. The kit includes an 80gph power filter and a dual reef 18W compact fluorescent (14000K/7400K) lamp. The tank is still in its cycling period now, with approx 1" of live sand and about 5lbs or so of live rock. I would like to get some input on my future livestock. I am going to stick to just some inverts, since the tank is too small for fish. And I am definitely staying away from anemone's. Any suggestions and/or comments would be greatly appreciated. Also, I would love to hear from anyone who may have some experience with the Deco 3. Thanks!

cool inverts like zoas, palys, mushies polyps etc.
also i think a couple dwarf seahorses would do good in that tank. dont quote me and its mos def worth some research but i thing the dwarfs do better in smaller systems. maybe a shrimp, reefer madness has these absolutly gangsta rainbow shell snails. i want a couple too. |
