do i have a coral infection??

i just had 2 corals die-a long tentacled plate went first and fast and a beautiful acrozoanthus 7 inch tree/stick with loads of beautiful polyps developed a brownish/red jelly covering a day later and is barely alive and most of my colored zoas rocks are closed now a day after that.what happened, what can i do and any ideas on what it is.could the long tentacled plate problem have spread to the others since it is consistent with the flow direction in the tank.
