old saltwater ok?

Ok so I have some saltwater that has been mixed already but sitting in a covered container with no circulation or air or anything like that. It has been in this container for about 3-4 days. Would it still be ok to use today? I'm worried about it being stagnant or whatever. Should I toss it out and mix new?

It will be fine. No problem. I sometimes mix it up weeks in advance

It is fine to use. I sometimes use mix that is over a month old. Just check the Specific Gravity as evaporation can cause it to get too high.

Yeah, OK check the specific gravity.
It has only been sitting for three days so I don't think evaporation would be a big issue but what do I know.
Hey Waterkeeper, How you doing?

I'm not sure Paul, I think I'm becoming stagnant.

Thats Senile.
I am in the middle of cleaning my tank. I took out most of the rock which meant I had to cut a lot of the soft corals apart. I love looking at all this stuff crawling around under the rocks. I wish these tiny brittlestars were worth something.
So far I cleaned the diatom filter four times and it looks like it will take two more.
Paul
