20k bulb for me?

I currently have a phoenix 14k bulb in 250w aquamedic pendant over my 29g tank. The bulb is closing in on being a year old so im looking for a replacement. I recently restarted my tank with new live rock and im planning to do mostly LPS and softies with maybe a few SPS. Since I don't have actinics and really cant add them since i have a pendant not a canopy i plan to go to a bluer bulb to make the lps and zoos/ricordia pop.

2 questions:

1) will a 20k 250w on 29g tank still be plenty of light for SPS?

2) whats the best DE 20k bulb in your opinion?

Thanks!

That will be plenty of light for SPS in a 29g.

I prefer the phoenix 14k, so I am not sure of any other bulbs to tell you.
