Hey guys,
I had shut down one of my closed loop lines for about a week, not thinking about the water staying stagnant inside of it. Today I opened it up and tried to collect as much of the smelly stagnant water and dump it out, before it went back into the tank, but there was still some that went into the tank. Would this cause an ammonia or a nitrate spike or a phosphate rise? |

Might cause a small spike of all of the above; just do a couple small water changes on the tank and that should take care of it for you.
