Need Some Help
HELP!!! We came home tonight and one of my snail was stuck in my return pipe, Well he is perfectly fine, however it doesnt seem that my mag pump is returning water near as strong as it previously was. It was blowing some air when we got home, but wasnt completely out of water. Any suggestions? Is my pump screwed?
Thanks!! |

The restriction in the intake of a centrifugal pump causes cavitation. It usually is of short order if the impeller wasn't damaged, This is one of the reasons we always tell people to only reduce flow by restricting discharge, My guess is the pump will return to normal by tomorrow but you may want to turn it off for a minute or two and then restart it to see if that helps.

Will Try that, our flow is only limited on the discharge side, but like i mentioned this is from our snail being to curious.
