Installing an Octopus DD 150
I am going to order this skimmer first thing when I find out how it is hooked up. I was just wondering mainly can you have just the pump go inside the sump and the actual skimmer sit on the outside?
Do i need to buy some kind of kit for this? Or just tubing? If you can help me out on this one I would appreciate it ![]() Thanks |

out of the two threads you have out here about this, no one seems to respond with the answer your looking for. I would help you if i could, but in the interm, why dont you call the retailer or the manufacture and get the data your looking for?

You have to have your feed pump in the sump, how else can it draw water? After that, you can chose to either run the skimmer internal or external to the sump. Just make sure that you can route the exhaust from the skimmer back to the sump.
