Sure it's not an OTP-3000? It shouldn't be an Oceanrunner 3700

That's it. Thanks for correcting. I just got mine so I figured I might have missed a character.

I will double check when I get home, but I am pretty sure you're right on.

I am sure everyone knows this but for the record...

the NW-200 comes with an OTP-3000 (Octopus Turbine Pump-3000

an OR 3700 (Oceanrunner 3700) is an Aquamedic Pump

yes they are both electrically the same and most likely made at the same factory in china and look the same...they do have different needlewheels and accpridng to anotehr thread I just read different volute, inputs, and outputs

I will tagging along on this one. I also have a 225g and I am currently in the planning stages. I have read so much about skimmers that my head is spinning. This thread is a godsend and couldn't have come at a better time. Thank you. I have been leaning to the RO NW-200.

looking to put one on my 125g. do you think the rec.nw200 would do a better job because it flows less water through it. therfore able to mix some of the water twice? maybe i don't understand how it works?

I am currently upgrading to a 150 gal and I'm looking at purchasing the Octopus Recirc Needlewheel 200
http://www.marinesolutionsinc.com/ca...duct_info.html
or the Octopus Needlewheel 200
