Cpr Type Overflow
I just purchased a CPR type continuous overflow. I just had a question. Does all the air ever come out of the U in the overflow. My oveflow is running fine but there is a pocket of air in the top of the U in the overflow. I have a maxi 600 in the sump running the siphon. thanks in advanve

Yes there will always be some air in it. You can adjust the overflow to get the air to go to the nipple side to help.

Yeah it never purges completely, especially with the screen in place. It seems to draw water so fast that it pulls air also. Just make sure the nipple stays clear. And only try cleaning it with the return pump shut down!!

Sweet. I just worry because it is not a "CPR" and it was damaged when I got it (crack in the top and leaked) but I sealed all the damage and still had about 1/4 inch of air in the top. But, I guess that is normal
