How long before Xenia fluffs up?
I just got some Xenia for my tank. How long does it normally take for them to adjust and open up. It's real droopy now. I know that's normal, I just want to know how long before I should start to worry. Thanx

You need to be careful withthat much light too. I'm sure you've already heard that spill though.

They do like light like most things on our tanks but their not big on flow. They should open up in 1 day if not do a water change their very touchy to water parms. especially ph.

It should open within a day sometimes couple of hours. In my tank they grow everywhere high flow, low flow shaded parts, ph 7.9 - 8.4.

I wouldn't put them under the halide though, I would put them lower in the tank and give them some moderate flow. They take time to adjust to lighting and if it is too strong you can kill them.

I agree if they were not in a lot of light before, that can fry them
