I didn't have featherdusters, but I saw them eating my bristleworms, which wasn't a good thing for me.

Are you sure they a peppermint shrimp and not camelback shrimp? Are you sure they (the peppermint shrimp) ate them and not something else, then the peppermint shrimp went in to clean up?

well - i am not 100% that it was the peppermint (definitely NOT camel) however, when i first put the dusters in the tank they peppermints (2) came over to it - this is an area of the tank that the pep's NEVER go to during the daytime at least... but they immedietely went to it and started going crazy for it... next morning the tubes were hollow and the peps were still digging at them so that is the only evidence i have to go with.

I put a few peps in my tank to eat a couple of aiptasias I saw, and they did the trick. But when you think about it, why would they eat aiptasia and leave all other similiar inverts completely alone? Doesn't really make sense to me, I would imagine they can and will eat other desirable life- but I could be wrong.

I had Peppermints eat all the aiptasia and then they ate all the little feathers that sprang from my LR. I would say that the definitely killed yours.
