i was reading this article, thinking wow we're doing this backwards! we could put our home in the reef, and not the other way around. talk about the ultimate living room aquarium.

then i started thinking, what we'd really be doing is watching first hand how human life is destroying the ocean ecosystem. what a great selling point, hotel atlantis, watch a real reef bleach and die in front of your eyes. see what happens every time you flush your toilet, or do a load of laundry.

i guess it's not much worse than building a ski resort and watching a mountain valley turn into a parking lot.
