Dimmers on Flouresent?

Can you put dimmers on a flouresent system? I didnt know if the ballast would work on a dimmer.

I don't think you can use a dimmer a "normal" ballast. There are a few ballasts on the market that have a dimmer capability. They typically have extra connections on them specifically for the dimmer.
