RO/DI filter order?
I have a 6 stage RO/DI unit that I just replaced all the filters in. the 1st and 2nd stage had pre carbon filter and then the 3rd had
5 micron sediment filter. This is the order I put them in with the new filters....... 1. granular activatedcarbon filter 2.1 micron coconutcarbon block filter 3. 5 micron PP sediment filter 4. TFC 5. DI 6. in-line granular activatedcarbon filter I have been running it for like 8 hrs and my TDS reading is 6ppm did I put them in the wrong way? or is something not sealed right? |

The order should be
1. prefilter 2. granular carbon 3. carbon block 4. RO membrane 5. DI 6. Only use final carbon if you have a drinking water system run from the RO only. Do not use carbon after DI or you add TDS back. |

thanks I'll try that. so I don't need the in-line carbon filter unless I use it for drinking water.
