Nano-Stream 6025 vs 6045, what is the difference internally?

Just curious... what makes a 6045 different than a 6025? I always thought that all AC powered pumps spun at the same RPM (like MJs) and expected the only difference between these two pumps to be torque, allowing the 6045 to drive a bigger prop (like MJs).

Looking at the replacement parts list that came with my 6025s I am confused though...

It lists the prop/impeller assembly as the same between the 6025 and 6045. The only parts listed as different are the motor block and the front cover. I have seen a post here on RC from Roger @ Tunze saying the front covers are the same contrary to opinion (which obviously came from Tunze's instrucion manual).

As far as I can tell if the only difference is the motor block, then these two pumps absolutely must be spinning the prop at different speeds. Do we have any motor geeks that can confirm this or make some sense out of this data?

Bump (first time I have bumped my own thread... but come on... this is an interesting question).

Are there no answers/theories floating around? Am I the only one who cares?

You might want to ask this question in the Tunze sponsor forum instead or ask a mod to move your question to that forum. Either Tunze or owners can help you.

Bigger motor block = bigger magnet = more flow.

yea im pretty sure they are different from the 6025 but i could be wrong i initially thought maybee it was just the prop size but i think its probobly more or else tunze would sell an upgrade kit like they do with the 6000 streams
i have an order in for my 6055 with controller this will be a totally different pump with a dc motor and a fish care function
i think the 6045 has a different motor size like ErikS said
