Kole Tang in QT/Nori

I bought a Kole Tang 11 days ago and he has been in the QT since then while I have gradually been raising the SG from fish shop's 1.018 to my tank's 1.025. 2 days ago he developed one small white spot.... He is feeding well and seems well and active despite his cramped temporary home (40 litres)
My question is: how much Nori should I feed him (no rock or substrate in QT) and is it possible to give him too much? Or should I just replenish the algae clip when he's finished what's there? He certainly seems to like it!! I don't imagine there could be a problem with giving him as much as he will eat??
Thanks!

First off... I would put him in Hypo to asure that he doesn't bring ich into your maintank. I would put a quarter sized piece on the clip ever day or every other day depending no his size.
