protein skimmer question

oK, so i have an odyssea protein skimmer not the best but does the job - it has worked well for awhile, i changed some things around and cleaned the skimmer and when i turned it back on it fills the tanks with small bubbles and i cant get it to stop. Im thinking if i run it for awhile it will be ok, but i wasnt sure if the bubbles would hurt the fish or corals etc. any ideas what the problem may be.

mine does that too...it doesn't hurt anything, but the bubbles will build up on the tank walls...

but if anyone has a solution to this, i'd love to hear it

its pretty common with most skimmers, its kinda like a break in period and should go away when it gets a little slime in it
