Euro-Reef 1.5" gatevalve mod question *pic*

What length are the three 1.5" tubes that come with the "kit"

I am building my own kit and I am not sure what lengths to cut.

Thanks!!!

I have that kit. I do not remember what the lengths came as but they were LONG. Way too long. So basically you cut them down to the size you need. I don't think they were ever meant to be used full length since they are each like 12". Just cut to whatever size you need. What skimmer do you have there were instructions on how high to have the T but again, you had to cut the piping yourself. I'll look for the instructions tonight if you like and tell you how high to have the T.

I have an RS135. Where would I find the instructions fot it?

It seems pretty simple, I just wanna make sure I place the T at the right height.

Make it so the middle of the T is even with the seam where the body ends and the neck taper starts.

I got this reply from euro-reef just now after conacting them asking how I can convert my RS135 to an RC135.

Hello,

Thank you for your letter. You can purchase a SP3 –RC kit through our website. You will also need to purchase a separate feed pump for the skimmer. You should run 1 to 1.5 times your system volume per hour through the skimmer.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.
