hodo i post an avatar by my name?
Im having trouble trying to get a pic i want to be the avatar by my name. I used ifran view to rize it under 150x150 like it told me to. Now it says that the file is to big???when i try to do it direct from my computer it say that its not in the right form (jpg) what am i doing wrong??

fast57 - The maximum size for a custom avatar is 150 by 150 pixels or 8192 bytes (whichever is smaller). You may have the right pixel size but the file size may still be above the 8192 byte limit. I’m not sure what photo editing software you are using but that may be the problem.

If you have paint on your computer just edit the photo in that. Just select the whole picture and minimize it until it hits the right size.

If you have access to Adobe Photoshop, there is an option that allows you to "Save For Web." In that window you can select the output size of your file. Set it for 8kb...and it will be good to go.
Additionally, you can create a Photobucket account (free). Upload your image to the site. On that site there is a resize function that will make avatar's. Hope that helps.
